Sunset brings a traditional three-lane layout back to Valorant, but don't let its simplicity fool you. Mid control is absolutely critical on this map.
Attacking Mid
Unlike Split, where Mid is a death trap, Sunset's Mid Courtyard is spacious. Controllers should smoke the top of the stairs to block Market vision. Initiators like Fade or Sova can clear the close corners easily.
Defending B Site
B Site is notoriously hard to retake. Cypher is an S-Tier pick here. His tripwires can cover the main entrance and the market door simultaneously. Don't play too aggressively; funnel them into your utility.

- Duelist: Raze (great for clearing close angles)
